Belgian Grand Prix Review

In the Belgian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton proceeded to show the rest of the racing world his fine form with yet another great win, his third this season. It was an exciting win for Hamilton who had to go through the two safety car periods as well as run through a gravel trap when the rain started pouring.Finishing second was Mark Webber who unfortunately suffered from a bad start. Seconds behind Webber was Robert Kubica, finishing third and Felipe Massa in fourth place. This is not just another victory for Hamilton as this win allowed him to regain a narrow lead with 182 points against 179 points of Webber in the Driver’s Championship, closely followed by Vettel, Button and Alonso.

At the start of the Belgian race, it initially seemed to be a fine weather for racing, until rain came pelting down, giving the drivers more challenge in maneuvering through the race tracks. This is to be expected since Spa, is well known for its unpredictable weather conditions. All throughout the race, Hamilton proved his superb driving skills despite the constantly changing weather conditions. Hamilton made only one mistake, but with the significant lead he gained, he was able to recover well and finished with yet another exceptional win.
